50TH BARUM CZECH RALLY ZLÍN

30.08.2021

What a weekend in the Czech republic - 50TH Barums rally has gone by with so many exciting, scary, muddy, rainy stages and in the end with a steady and good result from our Polish Crew - Miko Marczyk and Szymon Gospodarczyk!

Miko Marczyk was the best-placed ERC-MICHELIN Talent Factory member on Barum Czech Rally Zlín, the fourth round of the FIA European Rally Championship.

Driving a Škoda Fabia Rally2 Evo for ORLEN Team, Marczyk finished fifth in the final order, one place ahead of ERC-MICHELIN Talent Factory member Efrén Llarena after Erik Cais crashed out.

The ERC-MICHELIN Talent Factory is an incentive scheme for young stars in Rally2 cars competing in the ERC and featured Adam Březik for the first time. However, the local driver crashed out of his home event on SS12.

I can proudly report to you that we are finishing the Barum Rally 1th in the Michelin Talent Factory classification and 5th place in the general classification.
Thus, in the middle of the European Championship season, we are the leaders of Michelin Talent Factory and viceliders of general classification! 💥
It was a great challenge. One of the hardest rallies of my rally life. The whole team around me did a great job, I tried my best and although at some point I didn't meet my expectations, I am proud that once again Simon and I are behaving like the pros. I know there will be time to fight for the highest position!
Thank you very much for your support and believe me - to arrive Barumka in 5th place, this is something for me 🤓
Warm greetings to you,
MikoMarczyk
